Welcome to the Jolly Roger Squadron website! "When Emperor Palpatine created the First Galactic Empire, he called upon the Imperial Navy to enforce the rule of law. It was the pilots of the Jolly Roger Squadron who filled the skies in their T.I.E. Starfighters that gave the inhabitants the "Safe and Secure, Society" they longed for. The whine of the TIE Fighters over head allowed the inhabitants of all the worlds of the Empire, to sleep soundly. To become a pilot of the Jolly Roger Squadron was every child's dream and drew countless numbers to the Imperial Flight Academy to earn their wings and to serve the Empire."   The 501st Legion is a worldwide Star Wars costuming organization comprised of and operated by Star Wars fans.
